Quality Inspector – Intermediate / In-Process



Pay: Up to £32,000 per year

Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:30pm (36 hours per week)



Do you have a keen eye for detail and experience inspecting components in aerospace or another highly regulated industry? This is an opportunity to join a manufacturer renowned for delivering precision sheet metal and assembly parts to some of the world’s most demanding sectors.



About the Role

As an Intermediate / In-Process Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that components meet exacting quality standards before moving to the next stage of manufacture or treatment. Your role will involve reading and interpreting detailed aerospace drawings, verifying tolerances, and carrying out dimensional checks using a wide range of manual inspection tools including verniers, protractors, radius gauges, height gauges, and rulers.



You will complete all required documentation such as routing sheets and FAIR form 3s, and work closely with production teams to ensure any issues are identified and resolved quickly. This is a hands-on role where accuracy and attention to detail are critical.



About You



* Manual inspection experience within aerospace or another highly regulated environment.



* Strong understanding of sheet metal and assembly processes.



* Confidence in using a range of measurement tools.



* Ability to interpret complex technical drawings and specifications.



* Competence in MS Word, Excel, and general PC use.



* Commitment to high safety and 5S standards.
