Job Title:Quality Control Inspector

Location:Memphis Area (Onsite)

Compensation:$30$35 per hour

Schedule:MondayFriday, approximately 6:00 AM 4:30 PM (4550 hours/week)

About the Opportunity:

An established and growing construction and metal fabrication firm is seeking aQuality Control Inspectorwith a strong background in structural steel. This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground role best suited for candidates who enjoy detailed inspections, working closely with production teams, and maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

• Inspect fabricated steel components to ensure they meet project specifications and quality standards
• Interpret and review blueprints, shop drawings, and specifications
• Conduct material and weld inspections using non-destructive testing methods
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain compliance records
• Collaborate with production and fabrication teams to identify and resolve quality issues
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and AISC (American Institute of Steel Construction) standards

Required Qualifications:

• ActiveCertified Welding Inspector (CWI)certification
• Solid understanding ofstructural steelfabrication and assembly
• Proficiency inMIG and TIGwelding inspection
• Experience reading and interpreting technical blueprints and specifications
• Strong communication skills and meticulous attention to detail

Qualifications:

• Experience working in theconstruction or structural steelindustry
• Familiarity withAISC standardsand industry best practices
