Quality Inspector

PrideStaff, a firm specializing in recruiting for Central Oregon businesses, is seeking a Quality Inspector for an established company in Bend, OR. The right candidate for this position will possess great attention to detail, move quickly, comfortable and the ability to self-direct, and experience in a production, fabrication or manufacturing environment. This is a full-time long-term position to get your foot in the door with a great company! Monday-Friday, 7:00am-3:30pm, starting at $20/hr with room for growth.

Position Summary

Perform inspection activities to verify product compliance to customer-supplied drawing specifications and associated industry standards.

Key Skills and Competencies:

• Experience with ISO:9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment such as calipers, ID and OD micrometers, depth gauges, dial indicators, and bore gauges.
• Experience operating a Faro Arm and Faro inspection software.
• Strong math skills, including but not limited to adding, subtracting, multiplication, division, geometry, and trigonometry.
• Strong understanding of engineering/manufacturing drawings.
• Understanding of geometric tolerancing.
• Microsoft Office experience.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager.
• Inspects product and documents results for First Part, In-Process, Final, and First Article Inspections as required.
• Communicates all nonconformances to Production and Quality Managers.
• Completes all required safety procedures before and during operations.
• May perform other duties as assigned by Management.
• Conforms to ISCO’s culture of quality, service, and continuous improvement, while taking personal responsibility for your actions and treating fellow employees, customers, and vendors respectfully and ethically.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
