Top Gun Staffing Group LLC has partnered with this organization to help them identify bright, agile, and diverse talent to join their team on a permanent, direct-hire basis.
As a Quality Inspector, you'll perform QC inspections, checks, and tests of RF, Microwave, and Millimeter Wave products and supplies and in-house-built cable assemblies to ensure they conform to stated requirements. You'll also document your findings and upload your photos and reports to the database. The QC Inspector partners with Quality Engineering and Product Management to perform investigations into part discrepancies.
To be successful in this role, you bring a firm understanding of standard inspection concepts, practices, and procedures and have experience using calibrated measuring and test equipment ranging from handheld tools to sophisticated electronic analyzers.
General Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform inspections and tests by competently using mechanical and electronic measuring and test equipment requiring moderate to complex setups, constant monitoring, and close visual inspection of the process.
- Perform inspections and tests by competently interpreting drawings, specifications, and work instructions.
- Identify and document results of inspections and tests and maintain records.
- Identify problems, recommend solutions, and withhold items that do not meet quality standards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience with inspection and testing of RF, Microwave, and Millimeter Wave electronics products.
- Experience using mechanical and electronic measuring and test equipment including Vector Network Analyzers.
- Experience reading and interpreting drawings, specifications, and procedures.
- Excellent vision (ok with corrective lenses).
- Excellent planning, analytical and organizational skills.
- Strong PC systems and software application skills (Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word, etc.).
- Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks with various deadlines.
- Highly motivated, energetic with strong interpersonal skills.
- Works well in a team setting.
- Maintains a clean, safe, and unobstructed work area.
Education:
- AS Electrical Engineering and/or two (2) years of inspection experience with electrical / electronic products.
Hours:
- Monday Friday, 8AM - 5PM (Onsite)
Salary Range:
- $37,440 ($18.00/hour) - $50,000 ($24.04/hour) commensurate with experience.
