Quality Engineer | Wyoming, MI
Salary Range: $75,000 - $109,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans, procedures, and standards.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform internal and external audits of products, processes, and quality systems.
- Analyze quality data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve manufacturing quality issues.
- Support new product introduction through APQP activities (e.g., FMEA, Control Plans, PPAP).
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and customer specifications.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, SPC, MSA, 8D, PPAP, APQP).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Demonstrated experience with statistical analysis and problem-solving techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and GD&T.
Bonus Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification
- Proficiency with advanced statistical software (e.g., Minitab, JMP)
- Experience with AI/ML applications for quality data analysis or prediction
- Internal Auditor certification for a relevant industry standard (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100)
