Quality Engineer\n\nNr Wolverhampton\n\n£40,000 per annum\n\nOur client is recruiting for a Quality Engineer who will play a crucial role in supporting the Quality Department by managing Business Management Systems. Involving conducting audits of systems, assisting with third-party audits. Additionally, responsible for writing and updating processes and procedures related to the BMS, as well as creating documentation to meet customer requirements.\n\nQuality Engineer Key Responsibilities:\n\n * Support the Upkeep of the Business Management System\n\n * Ability to create Processes & Procedures\n\n * Ability to create and support the upkeep Quality Metrics\n\n * Liaise with Customers & Suppliers in Complaints handling\n\n * Be competent in Quality Principles including Problem Resolution / Root Cause Analysis\n\n * To carry out Internal & Supplier audits as required within the organisation\n\n * Support Customer and Third-Party Audits\n\n * Creating ISIR’s / FAIR’s\n\n * Support all internal departments with quality related matters\n\n * Be fully conversant in reading engineering drawings\n\n * Read and understand customer specifications/POs in order to effectively complete contract reviews\n\n * Assist in maintaining and adhering to the organisations accredited systems such as AS9100, ISO9001 and all customer requirements\n\n * To perform other such duties as generally correspond to the nature of the position and its level of responsibility\n\nThe Ideal Quality Engineer Skills & Experience:\n\n * Previous experience creating processes and procedures\n\n * Create and upkeep quality metrics\n\n * Able to create ISIR / FAIR documentation\n\n * Carried out internal audits\n\n * Working knowledge of CMM equipment\n\n * Problem resolution and Root Cause Analysis\n\n * AS9100 and ISO9001 experience\n\nQuality Engineer Working Hours\n\n * 08:00 – 17:00 Monday to Thursday, and 08:00 – 13:00 Friday\n\nJackie Kerr Recruitment is an independent agency that has been established for 28 years.\nWe strive to provide the ultimate consultancy service to all our candidates.
