We are seeking a skilled Quality Engineer to join our team. This position is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and improving quality processes and products while driving continuous improvement initiatives throughout the manufacturing operation.

\n

Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Manage the internal audit function for the quality system
  • \n

  • Utilize audit findings to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • \n

  • Manage documentation and change management systems
  • \n

  • Participate in cross-functional teams developing PFMEAs, Control Plans, and Work Instructions
  • \n

  • Perform MSA studies and capability analysis on gauges and equipment
  • \n

  • Investigate and resolve quality concerns, including customer returns
  • \n

  • Assist and coach team members on statistical analysis techniques
  • \n

  • Support process improvements through data collection and analysis
  • \n

  • Conduct process capability studies and quality audits
  • \n

  • Participate in customer visits, reviews, and quality meetings
  • \n

  • Perform additional duties as assigned
  • \n

Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • Experience with:
  • \n

  • PFMEA
  • \n

  • Process Control Plans
  • \n

  • Root Cause Analysis
  • \n

  • Corrective Actions
  • \n

  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • \n

  • Excellent project management and leadership abilities
  • \n

  • Proficiency with Minitab or similar statistical analysis software
  • \n

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
  • \n

  • Knowledge of APQP and program management methodologies
  • \n

\n

Education & Experience:

\n

    \n
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical Engineering ) and 2–5 years of related experience
  • \n

  • Equivalent work experience may be considered in place of a degree
  • \n

  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer
  • \n

  • Automotive manufacturing experience
  • \n

  • Strong understanding of quality statistics and data analysis
  • \n

  • Certified Quality Auditor (IATF 16949) or ability to obtain certification within one year
  • \n

  • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
  • \n
