Quality Engineer | Spring Lake, MI
Salary Range: $68,000 - $102,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality control plans and procedures for manufacturing processes.
- Conduct root cause analysis of non-conformances and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and customer requirements.
- Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools to monitor and improve product and process quality.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new product introduction (NPI) to ensure quality requirements are met from design to launch.
- Manage supplier quality, including qualification, performance monitoring, and issue resolution for incoming materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to enhance overall quality and efficiency.
Recommended Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Quality Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in core quality tools (FMEA, Control Plans, SPC, MSA, CAPA).
- Strong understanding of ISO 9001 or relevant industry quality standards (e.g., IATF 16949, AS9100).
- Demonstrated ability in root cause analysis, problem-solving methodologies, and statistical data analysis.
Bonus Qualifications
- Certified Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt.
- ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA, CSSBB).
- Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP.
- Experience with ERP systems, particularly the Quality Management (QM) module in SAP.
