Quality Engineer in Sheffield

Job DescriptionJob Role: Quality Engineer Location: Sheffield Salary: Circa £40k Our client is a well-established manufacturer supplying highly regulated industries including aerospace, defence, energy and engineering. Due to continued growth, they're seeking a Quality Engineer to support quality systems, audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives across the business. Key Responsbilities * Maintain and improve quality systems including ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120. * Conduct internal audits and support external audits. * Investigate non-conformances using 8D, 5 Why and Ishikawa methodologies. * Drive corrective and preventative actions (CAPA). * Analyse quality data and support continuous improvement projects. * Maintain calibration, training and quality documentation systems. * Support supplier quality activities and new supplier approvals. Experience & Qualifications * Previous experience in a Quality Engineer or similar role. * Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100 and AS9120 standards. * Auditing experience and strong problem-solving skills. * Excellent communication and organisational abilities. * Manufacturing or engineering background . * NADCAP knowledge Salary & Benefits * Competitive salary dependent on experience. * Pension scheme. * On-site parking. * Up to 28 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service. * Excellent opportunities for training, development and career progression.
