Overview: Red Recruitment are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Engineer to support quality activities throughout product development and New Product Introduction (NPI) based in Redditch. This role plays a key part in ensuring high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing processes and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Key Responsibilities: Support quality engineering activities during NPI and project development Prepare and manage PPAP and FAIR documentation Ensure effective implementation of design and process changes Conduct internal and supplier audits Collaborate with customers and suppliers to ensure quality standards Assist in continuous improvement and QMS projects Support contract reviews and ensure regulatory compliance Deputise for the Quality Manager when required Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience in a quality engineering role Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, and FAIR processes Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or AS9100 Strong understanding of engineering drawings and GD&T Experience with measurement tools (e.g. verniers, micrometres) Good communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Desirable: Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or DMAIC Project management experience Knowledge of SPC, root cause analysis, and experimental design
