Job DescriptionJob Description

We are looking for a Quality Engineer to support quality assurance activities within our manufacturing operations. This role focuses on improving product quality, resolving issues, and working closely with production and suppliers—especially within machining and die casting environments.

 

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Support quality systems and ensure compliance with customer and industry standards (IATF 16949, ISO 9001).
  • Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for internal and supplier quality issues.
  • Review and update quality documentation, including Control Plans, PFMEAs, and Work Instructions.
  • Lead or assist in PPAP submissions and process validations.
  • Conduct process audits and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze quality metrics; suggest and implement improvements.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and support incoming inspection as needed.
  • Participate in internal and external audits.
  •  

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of machining and die casting processes.
  • Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, and basic statistical tools.
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and use measurement equipment.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
  •

  • Experience in the automotive industry.
  • Knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 standards.
  • Six Sigma or similar quality certification.
