Salary: $80,000–$90,000
Hours: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Hire Type: Direct HireBenefits: Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, paid time off, paid holidays, and retirement plan options.The Quality Engineer plays a key role in maintaining and improving the organization’s AS9100 Quality Management System. This position is responsible for leading corrective action efforts, supporting internal audits, and working closely with cross-functional teams to drive quality improvements across manufacturing operations.Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the corrective action process from initiation through resolution, ensuring timely closure
• Partner with operations and engineering teams to identify root causes and implement effective corrective and preventive actions
• Monitor and analyze quality data to identify trends, recurring issues, and opportunities for improvement
• Participate in internal audit activities, including planning, execution, reporting, and follow-up on findings
• Support ongoing development and improvement of quality systems, procedures, and documentation
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of quality tools such as control plans, FMEAs, and work instructions
• Guide production teams on quality standards, compliance requirements, and best practices
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or technical diploma in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality Engineering or Quality Assurance role within a manufacturing environment
• Experience working within an AS9100 quality system required
• Auditor training or certifications are
• Familiarity with special processes such as coating, heat treatment, or welding is
• Strong problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis methodologies
• Excellent communication, organization, and analytical skills
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
• Must be a U.S. Person or hold an active US Green Card
