Job Description
Quality Engineer\n\n LOCATION- Leeds\n\n TERM- Permanent\n\n SALARY- £40,000-£50,000 \n\nMy engineering client are looking to take on a Quality Engineer, on a permanent basis, in Leeds.\n\nThe Quality Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nDegree/ HNC/ HND / NVQ qualified in Engineering or be QBE\n2 years’ or more experience in a similar Quality Technician or Quality Engineer position ideally with transferable skills and knowledge\nPrevious experience working in a similar electronics components engineering manufacturing environment but other backgrounds may also be considered\nIdeally experienced in carrying out internal audits\nExcellent knowledge of ISO9001 – any other ISO experience would be desirable\nAble to work well individually as well as within a team\nHave excellent communication skills\n The Quality Engineer role will involve:\n\nWorking with the group Quality Manager\nSupporting all aspects of Quality – using methods such as 8D, 5 Why’s, Root Cause Analysis etc.\nAlways looking to improve company processes and procedures\nBe involved in internal audits and leading this programme\nUnderstanding customer feedback\nTraining other staff members with regards to processes and procedures\nProducing product reports as required\n If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible, along with your availability and your salary expectation
