Position Title: Quality Engineer

Pay Rate: $80/hour

Assignment Type: 6 month contract with potential for contract-to-hire

Office Status: In-office Monday–Thursday 8 AM - 5 PM, Remote Friday

Pay Rate: $80/hour

We are seeking a QE Developer with strong automation experience, a solid technical foundation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role focuses on automated testing for enterprise applications and requires expertise in Java-based frameworks, CI/CD pipelines, and modern QA tooling.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement automated test scripts using Java and Playwright.
• Develop and maintain hybrid test automation frameworks leveraging Page Object Model (POM).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using CircleCI and Docker.
• Perform API testing with Rest Assured and validate data using MySQL JDBC Connector.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure quality standards across deployments.

REQUIRED TOOLS AND TECHNOLOGIES

• Automation: Playwright Java API, Selenium Grid
• & Frameworks: Java, TestNG, Maven
• Reporting: Extent Reports (HTML-based)
• CI/CD: CircleCI, Docker
• Version Control: GitHub (commit, pull, push, PR workflow)
• Database: MySQL, JDBC Connector

Skills

• SQL (Aurora/Redshift), AWS (S3, Lambda logs), Chrome Developer Tools
• JSON, Postman, PowerBI, Excel
• Command line tools (PowerShell, Git Bash, AWS CLI)
• Familiarity with MS Office and screen capture tools

Soft Skills

• Strong multitasking and adaptability
• Clear communication and teamwork
• Ability to work independently and handle shifting priorities
• Willingness to work after hours and participate in on-call rotations
• Oil & Gas industry experience is a plus
