Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to join our growing team, playing a key role in maintaining and improving internal quality systems and ensuring both product and process standards are upheld across production and supply chain operations. The successful candidate will be involved in all aspects of quality from audits and inspections to supplier collaboration and compliance documentation.
This position requires a hands-on, proactive individual with experience in technical standards and quality frameworks, as well as the ability to engage across departments and with external partners.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Contribute to the development and enforcement of company-wide quality standards and practices.
Conduct audits internally and at supplier sites to ensure procedures align with operational and regulatory requirements.
Identify and investigate quality issues, leading corrective and preventative actions using structured problem-solving tools.
Prepare and review technical compliance documents, including First Article Inspections (FAI) and production approval packages.
Support supplier evaluation processes, including approval, performance monitoring, and documentation reviews.
Analyse quality trends and metrics, providing insights and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Oversee calibration systems and assist in refining inspection processes for received materials and components.
Collaborate closely with engineering, production, and external stakeholders to address quality challenges efficiently.
Candidate Requirements:
Essential Skills & Experience:
Solid understanding of quality management principles (ISO 9001, AS9100 ).
Experience with quality documentation such as FAI, PPAP, and APQP.
Competence in supplier development and auditing activities.
Familiarity with quality tools such as 8D, root cause analysis, and risk-based thinking.
Strong communication and coordination skills, able to work cross-functionally and independently.
