Quality Engineer

G&W Products is a leader in metal stamping, laser cutting, welding, tool and die, powder coating, and assembly, serving industries such as construction and defense. We are based in Fairfield, OH, and are seeking a qualified Quality Engineer to join our team.

In this critical position, you will ensure that our products consistently satisfy both customer requirements and stringent industry standards. Acting as the primary point of contact for quality matters, you will engage with clients, suppliers, and internal departments to maintain clear communication and uphold quality objectives throughout the manufacturing process. Your knowledge and experience will contribute to our dedication to excellence, support ongoing improvement initiatives, and guarantee that each product produced by G&W Products meets our established standards of quality.

Requirements:

• 5+ years manufacturing experience
• 2+ years with PPAP (AIAG, AS9102)
• Skilled in blueprint reading, metrology, GD&T, MS Office
• Strong analytical, communication, and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to travel

: ASQ CQE certification, metal fabrication experience

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain customer interfaces, enforce quality control, conduct root cause analysis, and handle PPAP submissions.
• Manage documentation, inspections, and changes or deviations.
• Analyze data, lead PFMEA/control plan meetings, and address non-conformance.
• Participate in team problem-solving and APQP.
