Quality Engineer - £43,000-£46,000 + 10% Annual Bonus + Early Finish Fridays + 33 Days Holiday + 36 hour working week + £600 Attendance Bonus + Career Progression in Growing Business!\n\nThe Company\n\nWe are working with a global market leader within the manufacturing industry, who are experiencing significant growth. They have some exciting future growth plans and are looking to add a Quality Engineer to their technical team.\n\nYou will be joining a international team of experienced industry professionals to work within a leading business in the manufacturing industry. The company can provide a realistic career growth path, to Senior Quality Engineer and Manager for the right individual.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Quality Engineer, you will play a key role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring high quality standards across production and processes.

You will act as a central interface between internal teams, customers, and suppliers, leading problem-solving activities and supporting key quality processes such as APQP and PPAP. This role requires a hands-on, analytical mindset and a proactive approach to identifying and implementing sustainable improvements\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Drive continuous improvement (CIP) initiatives across production and quality processes, ensuring effective implementation and follow-up of actions\n\n * Act as the main point of contact for quality-related topics within assigned projects, collaborating with internal teams, customers, and suppliers\n\n * Lead and coordinate the resolution of quality issues using structured problem-solving methods (e.g., 8D, root cause analysis, Ishikawa)\n\n * Support and manage customer quality requirements, including APQP and PPAP processes, ensuring product and process readiness\n\n * Analyze production and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities\n\n * Conduct scrap and defect analyses and implement corrective and preventive measures to enhance performance\n\n * Plan, conduct, and support internal audits, ensuring compliance with quality standards and internal processes\n\n * Participate in gate and program reviews to ensure quality deliverables throughout the product lifecycle\n\nWhat We Are Looking For\n\nThe Quality Engineer will be an ambitious individual who will ideally have gained exposure to a similar role in a manufacturing facility.\n\nIdeally you will be/have:\n\n * Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Quality Management or a related technical field. Alternatively, 5+ year working in the automotive/manufacturing sector in a similar role.\n\n * Initial professional experience in Quality Engineering within a manufacturing environment (automotive would be beneficial)\n\n * Solid knowledge of core quality tools and methods (e.g.

APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, Control Plan, PFMEA) as well as structured problem-solving approaches (e.g. 8D)\n\n * Auditing experience of production and business systems with solid understanding of IATF 16949 and ISO 9001 requirements\n\n * Good understanding of quality management systems and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications\n\n * Strong analytical skills, a structured and solution-oriented working approach, and excellent IT skills (MS Office; preferably experience with Minitab)\n\nWhat is On Offer\n\nThe Quality Engineer will receive a competitive salary of £43,000-£46,000 (DOE) In addition, you will joining a growing business with career opportunities and benefit from:\n\n * 10% Annual bonus\n\n * £600 annual attendance bonus\n\n * Early Finish Fridays (2pm)\n\n * 33 days annual leave\n\n * 35 Hour Working Week\n\n * Company Pension – 4.25% match\n\n * Free parking\n\n * Career progression in a growing business
