Job Description Job Description Quality Engineer Job Title: Quality Engineer Location: Erie, PA Salary: $55k-$90k DOE Requirements: BS Degree in Quality or Engineering , 3 years exp in Quality in the Plastics or Medical device Manufacturing realm, ISO 9001 Position Overview The Quality Engineer will be responsible for ensuring that the products meet the required quality standards and compliance regulations. This role involves developing and implementing quality control processes, conducting audits, and leading continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures. Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations. Analyze quality data and generate reports to identify trends and areas for improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions. Lead root cause analysis and problem-solving initiatives to address defects and non-conformities. Provide training and support to team members on quality control practices and methodologies. Assist in the development and maintenance of quality documentation and procedures. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Proven experience as a Quality Engineer or in a similar role. Strong knowledge of quality engineering principles and methodologies. Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. Experience with Six Sigma and process improvement techniques. Proficiency in statistical analysis tools and software (e.g., Minitab). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
