About the Role\n
Are you ready to take your career to the next level? We’re excited to announce an opportunity for an Electrically Biased Quality Control Engineer to join our dynamic team at NG Bailey. In this pivotal role, you will support electrical building service projects across Scotland, ensuring that our installations meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Your Key Responsibilities\n
As a Quality Control Engineer, you will:

- Promote a culture of safety by demonstrating health and safety awareness in all project activities.
- Collaborate with operations and commissioning teams to develop project-specific Quality Control Management Systems (QCMS).
- Ensure all MEP systems are covered by an inspection and test plan, tracking production, approval, and completion.
- Monitor installation progress and conduct surveillance to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
- Engage with design and operations teams to utilize NG Bailey’s suppliers effectively.
- Review the quality of our supply chain, ensuring subcontractors adhere to internal procedures.
- Verify the use of NGB approved products and materials, including factory witness testing of major equipment.
- Ensure team qualifications and competencies are maintained, providing training and toolbox talks as needed.
- Conduct regular audits, identifying and escalating non-conformances or defects.
- Provide insightful project reviews and reports, coordinating with teams to create QC and commissioning action plans.

What We’re Looking For\n
We seek a candidate with:
\n
- \n
- Significant experience as an electrical engineer or supervisor, with relevant qualifications.
- A solid understanding of electrical systems in a building services environment.
- Completion of an electrical apprenticeship or equivalent qualifications.
- Knowledge of modern and traditional installation methods compliant with relevant standards.
- CSCS Card, IOSH, CDM, and SMSTS certifications.
