Quality Engineer in Coventry, West Midlands (County)

What you will do

* Maintain and improve our quality management system (ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / AS9100)

* Lead root cause investigations using 8D, 5 Whys and fishbone tools

* Manage customer complaints and supplier quality issues

* Prepare PPAP and FAI documentation for new parts

* Run internal audits and support customer and certification audits

* Use data and SPC to cut scrap and rework

What you need

* Degree or HNC in an engineering subject, or equivalent experience

* 2+ years in a quality role in manufacturing

* Working knowledge of ISO 9001 or a sector standard

* Confidence with problem-solving tools and core quality tools (APQP, PFMEA, control plans)

* Able to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment

Nice to have

* Internal auditor certification

* Six Sigma Green Belt

* CMM experience
