Description:
- BS degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Quality or equivalent)
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within manufacturing environment (automotive )
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and core tools: APQP & PPAP
- Experience with problem-solving methodologies and quality tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Ability to analyze parts and determine conformity vs specifications
- Experience with Class A parts is a plus
- Experience with OEMs (VW is a plus)
- Hands-on experience in production environment and quality lab
- Ability to perform manufacturing process audits and identify improvement areas
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Good level of English
Job Description Details:
- Act as a quality representative within production, ensuring product conformity and supporting manufacturing teams
- Serve as a buffer between production and quality/lab activities
- Analyze parts and validate product quality based on specifications
- Lead and support problem-solving activities using structured methodologies (8D, 5 Why, etc.)
- Identify root causes and implement corrective and preventive actions
- Perform manufacturing process audits and identify areas for improvement
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the production environment
- Interface directly with customers regarding quality topics
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Support lab activities when needed for testing and validation
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer requirements
Profile:
- Quality Engineer – Manufacturing / Automotive
- Junior to mid-level (3+ years experience)
- Hands-on and proactive profile, comfortable working on the shop floor
- Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work in both production and laboratory environments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset
- Able to influence and convince teams to implement improvements
- Autonomous and results-driven
Must Have:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Quality Engineering
- Strong knowledge of APQP & PPAP
- Experience with problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, etc.)
- Ability to analyze parts and validate conformity
- Experience working in production environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to perform process audits and identify improvements
- Hands-on, proactive mindset
Good to Have:
- Experience in automotive industry
