Quality Engineer - Belfast

What You'll Do
Lead and Support: Guide Product Quality Control and Quality Assurance Engineering colleagues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver outstanding results.
Drive Quality Standards: Develop and maintain quality documentation and procedures, ensuring compliance and continuous improvement.
Problem Solve: Collect and analyse data on non-conforming products, enabling effective corrective actions.
Audit and Assurance: Arrange and manage audit programmes, conducting internal and external site audits to uphold the highest standards.
Customer Engagement: Liaise with internal and external customers to understand and meet quality assurance requirements.
Innovate: Introduce and develop new quality initiatives, supporting training for both internal and external stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement: Support activities such as MRB/CAB, First Article Inspection Reports, and non-conformity reduction.What We're Looking For
Experience over qualifications: We value hands-on experience, especially in quality or engineering within major manufacturing industries.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to challenge constructively while building strong relationships.
Analytical Mindset: Confident interpreting data sets and drawing actionable conclusions.
Team Player: Thrive as part of an integrated, cross-functional team.
Industry Flexibility: Backgrounds in automotive, manufacturing, or production are welcome, especially from large companies.
Quality Expertise: Awareness of APQP and experience with 8D problem solving, PFMEA, and Control Plan development is highly desirable.Key Qualities

Competitive Pay: £23.84 per hour (PAYE) or £31.90 per hour (Umbrella)
Work-Life Balance: Standard 36-hour week (4.5 days, flexible hours between 7am-7pm).
