In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with our Director of Quality and company leadership to continuously enhance our Quality Management System. You’ll help shape scalable processes that will support our growth for years to come. We’re looking for a candidate with a strong process —someone who can confidently identify improvements while also maintaining exceptional attention to detail and the highest quality standards.

As the Quality Engineer, you will assist in facilitating and managing the Quality Management System, conducting internal audits, implementing and refining processes, and coordinating calibration processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Presenting and discussing Annapolis’ Quality with Annapolis Employees and Annapolis Customers
  • Work with the Quality team and leadership team to facilitate and manage the Quality System
  • Deploying and implementing appropriate QMS processes
  • Working with entire organization to maintain AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 certifications
  • Assisting and performing internal audits, including AS9100D, ISO, FOD, ESD, Safety, etc.
  • Facilitating the review and actioning of Nonconformances and Corrective Actions
  • Guiding Root Cause Analysis efforts throughout the company
  • Assisting with and performing Quality Release
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Quality, Process, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
  • Experience and understanding of Quality in a Manufacturing Environment
  • Experience with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 Certification Process
  • Proficiency with MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, & Project)
  • Database Experience
  • Able to lift 40 lbs
  • U.S. Citizenship

Desired Technical Background

  • Certified Quality Auditor
  • Certified Lean Six-Sigma Black Belt
  • Experience in a PCB Manufacturing environment
  • Experience with a design and development background
  • Experience working in an environment providing products to government or prime contracts
  • Familiar with IPC and associated standards
  • PFMEAs and other similar tools experience
