Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a Quality Engineer with 5+ years of experience to support quality systems, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives in a regulated manufacturing environment.
  • This role involves reviewing engineering data, ensuring adherence to quality standards, and collaborating across teams to maintain product and process compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review engineering blueprints to ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements
  • Evaluate manufacturing work instructions for accuracy and adherence to technical data and quality systems
  • Review purchase orders to ensure alignment with technical specifications and quality requirements
  • Assist in developing inspection plans and generating inspection reports using standard tools/software
  • Identify inspection requirements based on drawings, material specifications, and customer requirements
  • Perform root cause analysis (RCCA/CAPA) and support corrective and preventive actions
  • Conduct internal process and product audits on a regular basis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Support nonconformance management and quality system compliance

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering or related technical field)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Quality or Engineering
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical standards
  • Experience with root cause analysis methodologies (RCCA, CAPA)
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work across all organizational levels
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
  • Experience with inspection software such as PolyWorks, Geomagic, or similar tools
  • Familiarity with inspection fixturing and assembly jig practices
  • CAD experience (Siemens NX )
  • Knowledge of quality standards such as AS9100 and/or ISO 9001
