SUMMARY

As Quality Engineer, you will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of quality assurance and control within our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Quality Manager, your core responsibilities will center around providing data driven support to the manufacturing team to ensure continuous focus on quality in all aspects of our processes and products. Strong communication and project management abilities will enable you to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, driving continuous improvement and ensuring customer satisfaction. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Identify and resolve quality issues by analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.
  • Ensure inspections criteria meet customer requirements and internal specifications within the data collection system (InfinityQS).
  • Organize customer requirements and validate internal specifications meet requirements.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to develop and maintain quality standards.
  • Support ongoing and new product development including process, mold, and machine qualifications.
  • Prepare and maintain quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and quality manuals.
  • Conduct audits and ensure compliance with GFSI and other relevant standards.
  • Follow control of non-conforming ware and communication procedures.
  • Manages Quality Alerts log in order to analyze effectiveness of corrective actions.
  • Review, update, and create formalized Process Instructions, forms, documentation and reports.
  • Verify use of documents on the production floor; implement changes/updates as needed
  • Defect identification – create library of defects for reference

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Advanced education, with focus on quality and engineering coursework, or ASP certification, .
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience in quality engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role.
  • Experience with plastics .
  • Strong knowledge of quality control standards and methodologies.
  • Strong communication, computer, problem solving, data analysis, and decision-making skills required.
  • Continuous improvement mindset required.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
