Johnson Service Group (JSG) is a nationally recognized professional staffing and recruiting firm that is currently looking for a Quality Engineer with 5-7 years’ MRO experience. This is a Temp-Direct job opportunity with an Aircraft company in Valencia, CA.

Pay Rate: $ 53.00 HR

Job Summary
We’re seeking a Quality Engineer to support our Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) line; someone who can operate with urgency, drive results and step into complex situations with clarity and confidence. This role isn’t for the sidelines. You’ll be embedded with our MRO operations, working directly with technicians, inspectors, and program leads to ensure the quality of our products and processes surpass the standards of our customers. The environment can be fast paced and dynamic, but that’s where you shine.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Quality representative on the MRO line, partnering closely with operations, engineering, and customers
• Lead and support Root cause investigations, FRACAS management, corrective actions and nonconformance management
• Gather analyze and story tell with data to identify trends and risks
  • Must be proficient in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, filters, etc.)
• Ensure issues are resolved quickly and effectively, escalating where appropriate and following through to closure
• Be adaptable and convey ownership, situations evolve quickly, and decisions need to be made confidently and responsibility

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing, preferably in an MRO environment
• Solid understanding of AS9100, RCCA methodologies (8D, 5-Whys, etc.) and aerospace inspection practices
• Strong data skillset Excel fluency is a must
  • Intermediate to advanced level)
• Ability to communicate effectively across functions and levels, form technicians to leadership 
• Comfortable taking ownership, operating independently, and navigating ambiguity when needed

Nice to Haves

• J-STD, IPC-610 certifications (current or previous)
• Exposure to ERP (SAP ) as well as Manufacturing Execution Systems (Siemens MES, Factory Logix )
• Advanced data analysis skillset (PowerBI, SQL)
• Being a pleasant person!
