Quality Engineer
Job DescriptionJob DescriptionAdecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturing client to find a full-time Quality Engineer for their plant located just south of Chattanooga, TN. (Dalton area)
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and resolve quality or production issues
- Develop and maintain inspection standards for service parts
- Investigate customer complaints, resolve supplier quality and internal audit issues.
- Lead quality activities, including FMEA, PPAP, SPC, and failure analysis
- Support internal, customer, and IATF audits; lead audit readiness efforts
- Provide support to Quality Technicians and other staff as needed
- Track and report monthly internal and external PPM metrics; identify trends and support corrective actions
- Participate in Kaizen/continuous improvement efforts and monitor KPIs (e.g., scrap reduction, first-pass yield)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- 2+ years of experience in quality engineering or a similar quality role
- Strong knowledge of inspection equipment & quality tools (FMEA, 8D, Root Cause Analysis, CAPA)
- Experience with ERP, QMS, MES, or other integrated manufacturing and quality systems
- Automotive manufacturing background strongly

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
