About Us:
JRP Utility Construction is an expert turn-key utility construction company that offers walkout and design, permitting, both aerial and underground construction, fiber and copper splicing and all required testing and closeout packages. We are seeking a motivated, safety-conscious Quality Control Supervisor to support ongoing and upcoming projects. This role is critical to protecting underground utilities and ensuring the safety of construction activities.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct frequent site inspections to ensure compliance with plans and standards.
- Ensure construction plans are being followed and project specifications are met.
- Monitor safety regulations and compliance across job sites.
- Oversee restoration work to ensure it is completed to specification.
- Take and organize project photos for client documentation and reporting.
- Collaborate frequently with managers, field crews, and clients to maintain project quality.
- Provide clear and effective communication between crews, clients, and management.
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license.
- Eligible to work in the U.S.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (required).
- 3+ years of experience in utility construction, underground construction, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to travel for projects as needed.
- Willingness to work extended hours when required.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing project needs.
- Self-starter with excellent time management.
- Top-notch communication and leadership abilities.
