The Quality Control Specialist will monitor and manage all vehicle quality issues in Vehicle Processing Center (VPC). This role requires proactive coordination with internal teams and external customers to access and help support corrective actions, oversee Return to Plant (RTP) movement and location tracking, manage IVELES hold statuses, and support the achievement of RTP-related Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Additionally, the QC Specialist will generate and distribute reports to ensure operational transparency and contribute to continuous improvement.


Department: Vehicle Processing Center

Reports to: Quality Control Manager


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift (Expected from 2:30 PM-11:30PM) (Rotating weekends and overtime may be required) (Schedule is subject to change based on production requirements)

Location: Onsite, Ellabell, GA 31308 (Must have the ability to commute within the neighboring facilities for meetings, events, etc.)


Responsibilities for a Quality Control Specialist:

  • Continuously review and monitor all quality-issue vehicles within VPC custody.
  • Ensure proper identification, documentation, and prioritization of quality concerns.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external customers to assess the appropriate course of action for vehicles/parts with identified quality issues.
  • Act as a liaison to ensure efficient communication and resolution of quality concerns.
  • Open and close IVELES holds to support accurate defect tracking and vehicle release.
  • Maintain detailed records of hold statuses and provide updates as required.
  • Manage and track the movement and locations of RTP-designated vehicles.
  • Support the achievement of RTP-related KPIs, such as repair turnaround time & defect resolution rate.
  • Generate and distribute detailed reports on quality issues, IVELES hold statuses, RTP movements, and KPI performance.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and recommend process improvements.
  • Support initiatives aimed at enhancing quality inspection processes, defect resolution efficiency, and RTP performance.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations based on observed trends and data analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications for a Quality Control Specialist:


  • Associate's degree
  • Adept knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required; must have a strong knowledge of Excel


Qualifications for a Quality Control Specialist:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1 year of indirect job experience
  • Field of Experience: Quality Control or Automotive
  • Certification/License: OSHA
  • Experience working with WMS systems
  • Understanding of warehouse operations, distribution, or logistics
  • Prior customer service or admi

  • Able to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
  • Ability to bend, turn, and use peripherals as required to operate equipment safely within company standard operator procedures.

  • Able to work in an indoor/outdoor warehouse environment for 8-hour shifts, and any overtime hours if applicable.

The estimated base salary rate for the Quality Control Specialist is $55,700-$61,600 an hour. The salary range information provided is in accordance with applicable state and local laws regarding salary transparency that are currently in effect and may be implemented in the future. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that GLOVIS EA reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel.
