Seemann Composites has an opening for a Quality Control Manager at our facility in Gulfport, MS. Quality Control Manager at Seemann Composites oversees the quality control efforts within the company with focus on the oversight and implementation of inspection and testing requirements and maintaining the company NDT Program, supports the quality direction of SCI and have the latitude to work in resource focused groups and product teams. The QC Manager will have supervisory responsibility of inspection personnel. Some travel may be required. Job Requirements:

- Responsible for the oversight of the quality inspection personnel in conjunction with engineering.
- Maintain the AS9100 Quality System and Quality Manual
- Maintain Workflows and Quality Deliverables
- Responsible for the implementation and sustainment of the company SCI NDT SNT program including certification and training.
- Maintains a forward-looking inspection schedule for resource planning and allocation.
- Evaluate quality control processes and protocols recommending new or improved processes as necessary.
- Support the Quality Engineers as needed in the preparation of Objective Quality Evidence (OQE) documentation / packages.
- Participate in internal audits for assigned responsibilities.
- Maintain measuring and monitoring calibration system.
- Maintain and manage Government Property Control
- Assist Quality Engineers in Quality Planning from contract award through design, testing and manufacturing.
- Supports operations on the shop floor. Frequently on the floor observing manufacturing processes, reviewing MIPs and assisting manufacturing as needed.
- Develop and implement quality controls and protocols across several program platforms.
- Support 3rd party audits and source inspections

Required Skills and Competencies
\n
- \n
- Bachelor’s Degree in an applicable field or equivalent experience and certifications.
- 5-year minimum experience in the quality and inspection field
- Proficient with reading and interpreting engineering drawings, customer specifications, and material requirements.
- Proficient in utilizing various inspection methods, tools and equipment to accomplish necessary product examinations to include, but not limited to, calibrated equipment, special tooling, part inspections, etc
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills required to interface with functional team members, executive management and customer representatives.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
- Experienced in leading and mentoring others
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a US DoD Security Clearance
- Due to the nature of our work, United States Citizenship, is required.

- Experience in working with vendors and suppliers
- Creation of work instructions, procedures, specifications or technical writing

Essential Physical Requirement: Working in a manufacturing or warehouse environment, you will be walking, standing and engaging in movement throughout the day, and occasionally to frequently be required to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs. Due to a large variety of job duties (both routine and non-routine), certain duties also may involve, a variety of physical activities including bending, stretching, lifting, stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms above shoulders and head, standing working in enclosed areas, climbing stairs or ladders, and operating heavy equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment can vary but noise is usually low to moderate. You may be required to wear personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, safety gloves, hearing protection, a respirator or dust mask, protective footwear and protective clothing or uniforms. Work may be performed in cold and/or hot temperatures and the environment can be dusty. Physical requirements further include the ability to engage in productive collaborative communication with co-workers and work may need to be performed during non-standard hours, including nights and weekends.
