Quality Control Manager

Austin, TX | Onsite

I’m currently supporting a fast-growing aerospace company developing advanced electronics and communication systems for satellites, spacecraft, and next- aerospace platforms.

They’re looking for a Quality Control Manager to lead production quality operations and help scale manufacturing processes within a high-growth engineering environment.

This is a hands-on leadership role focused on building high-performing quality teams, driving operational excellence, and maintaining AS9100-compliant manufacturing systems.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and developing teams of quality engineers and inspectors

• Managing production quality control activities across manufacturing operations

• Driving root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives

• Supporting AS9100 Quality Management System compliance

• Developing inspection criteria, work instructions, and production documentation

• Supporting internal and external audits

• Establishing training and certification programs

• Partnering with manufacturing and engineering teams to drive continuous improvement

What they’re looking for:

• 7+ years within quality control or quality assurance in manufacturing

• 3+ years in a leadership or management capacity

• Strong AS9100 experience within production environments

• Background in aerospace and/or electronics manufacturing

• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and schematics

• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills
