Key Responsibilities:
As a QC Laboratory Technician, your role will be pivotal in maintaining the quality of our products. Your main responsibilities will include:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to ensure our products meet customer requirements and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will work closely with production and engineering teams to monitor and enforce quality standards
Perform quality control testing, and document results in line with company protocols.
This role requires the ability to troubleshoot issues, ensure compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), and support continuous improvement efforts.
Ensure products meet customer specifications and comply with industry standards.
Perform quality control testing at different stages of the manufacturing process to confirm compliance with product specifications.
Using Pippetts to test products
Identify and resolve issues such as reconciliation discrepancies and out-of-specification readings.
Monitor adherence to the Quality Management System (QMS) throughout the production process.
Document test results, deviations, and corrective actions following company protocols.
Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality-related issues and provide necessary support.What We're Looking For:
A detail-oriented and proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Previous experience in quality control is ideal, but not mandatory.
Familiarity with pipetting techniques is a plus but not essential
Experience within a manufacturing environment
A willingness to learn
Basic experience is required as the successful applicant will receive 3 months of comprehensive training to equip you with the necessary skills and knowledge. Work Schedule:
Shift work DAYS AND NIGHTS, alternating between day and night shifts.
During the training period you will work days 8am-4pm, following this you will revert to shifts.
Shift Example: WED THUR FRI Days, Off SAT, SUN MON TUE Nights, Off WED THUR FRI SAT
Day shifts: 6:00 AM - 6:15 PM
Night shifts: 6:00 PM - 6:15 AM
Totaling 35.25 hours per week, with 11.75 hours per shift.
Salary and Benefits:
Hourly pay rate of £15.45 inclusive of shift allowance (Annual Salary totalling £28,426.53)
