Position Overview: We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our team in Waco, TX. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in a quality-related role and must be proficient in reading a tape measure. This role is critical to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections of products at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to quality standards and specifications.
- Utilize measuring tools, including tape measures, to verify product dimensions and specifications.
- Document inspection results and communicate findings to production and quality teams.
- Identify and report any defects or non-conformances, and assist in determining corrective actions.
- Work collaboratively with production staff to ensure quality assurance throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety protocols and procedures.
- Perform other quality-related tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of one year of experience in a quality-related role.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting tape measures and other measuring tools.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects and non-conformances.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Must be able to work an 8-hour shift with overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat and cold.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the manufacturing facility for the duration of the shift.
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 50 lbs as needed.
- Manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for operating measuring tools and equipment.
