Quality Control Inspector in Orange County

Job Description

SkillSetGroup seeking an entry-level QC Line Inspector to work in the Orange, CA area. This position will be responsible for dimensional inspection of machined metal and plastic parts. The chosen candidate must have experience with first article, in-process and final inspection of small to medium-sized precision metal and plastic parts within an AS9100 and ISO9001 environment. This will be a 1st shift position and a DIRECT HIRE position.

Shift: 4x10’s Monday to Thursday 7:00am to 5:30pm. OT on Fridays, 8 hours

\n

\n

Requirements:

\n

\n
• 3 to 5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

\n

• Ability to conduct visual inspection of product and see the problem

\n

• Self-Starter that can work with minimum supervision

\n

• Reading and understanding complex engineering drawings

\n

• Reading and understanding of work instructions via shop travelers

\n

• Detail-oriented and precision work focus, attention to detail is a must!

\n

• True Positioning and GD&T knowledge is a plus

\n

Equipment experience:

\n

\n
• Optical & Video Comparator

\n

• Surface Plate and Height Gages

\n

• Micrometers and Calipers

\n

• Plug and Ring Thread Gages

\n

• Pin gauges

\n

• Cert Review for Processing: Heat Treat, Anodizing, Plating, Passivate, etc.

\n

• Basis Knowledge for AMS & MIL Std.
