Job Description Job Description We are looking for an Incoming Quality Control Inspector to ensure the quality of incoming vendor-supplied parts and internally fabricated components. This role is critical in maintaining our product reliability, safety, and production flow. You’ll work closely with Quality, Inventory, Materials, and Purchasing teams to keep inspections accurate, timely, and aligned to company standards. Key Responsibilities: Inspect incoming supplier parts and in-house fabricated components to verify material, regulatory, and dimensional compliance Perform in-process inspections during assembly and manufacturing Work with Quality and Materials teams to schedule and prioritize inspection workloads Identify quality trends and recommend adjustments to inspection frequency Document inspection findings, nonconformances, and resolution actions Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce defects and improve reliability What You Bring: 3–5 years of experience in a Quality Control or inspection role Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Skilled in using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, thread gauges, optical comparators, etc.) Proficient with Microsoft Office and basic computer applications Strong attention to detail, accountability, and follow-through High school diploma or equivalent required Ideal Candidate Traits: High personal standards for quality Strong learning agility and initiative Dependable, organized, and thorough Works well with cross-functional teams Comfortable communicating findings and recommendations Success in This Role Looks Like: Reliable flow of defect-free parts to manufacturing Reduced scrap, rework, and warranty-related issues Shorter production lead times due to consistent part quality Work Environment / Physical Requirements: Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs occasionally Work is performed between a desk and active manufacturing areas Shop environment may be loud at times Company Description Matching skills with careers Company Description Matching skills with careers
