Pay: Up to $19.50/hour, depending on experience
Shifts Available: 1st Shift & 2nd Shift
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Conroe, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and customer specifications. If you have a strong eye for detail and experience with precision measuring tools, we'd love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify dimensions and product specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections to identify defects, including cracks, deformations, and surface imperfections.
- Document inspection findings and report non-conforming products according to company procedures.
- Collaborate with production personnel to resolve quality issues and support corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate inspection records and prepare quality reports.
- Ensure compliance with ISO standards and other applicable quality requirements.
- Assist with internal and external quality audits as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Technical training or certification in Quality Control or Inspection is a plus.
- 1–2 years of quality inspection experience, preferably in a manufacturing or production environment.
Required Skills
- Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Knowledge of quality control procedures and inspection techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and quality management software.
