We are currently seeking a QC Inspector with Faro Arm experience for a busy aerospace company in Brea, CA. The QC Inspector will be responsible for the following.


Location: Brea, CA
Pay: $30.00–$35.00 per hour DOE; full-time hourly.

Inspect and test materials, in-process items, and finished products at all manufacturing stages to ensure customer and AS 9100 quality requirements are met; record and report defects and help ensure corrective actions before delivery.


Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out and coordinate inspection and test requirements per the Quality Procedure Manual and contract/AS 9100 requirements.
  • Maintain and update specifications, standards, and quality-system documents.
  • Perform assigned tests on materials, parts, product in process, and finished product; visually inspect for defects and compare results to drawings/specs.
  • Record inspection results, report problems to Quality Supervisor, and recommend disposition for suspect/defective items.
  • Segregate defectives, notify leadership when limits are exceeded or major quality issues occur, and assist with quality record retention and filing.
  • Use 3D scanner or Faro Arm as part of inspection activities; perform other duties as assigned.


Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Working knowledge of quality assurance standards and AS 9100 quality systems.
  • Ability to read blueprints and follow calibration procedures; proficiency with computer applications—Microsoft Excel required.
  • Strong verbal and written English communication, interpersonal skills, and ability to work independently and on teams.
  • Critical thinking, persistence in problem-solving, strong safety and customer-quality focus.


Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent strongly .
  • Minimum of three years as an individual contributor, with preference for aerospace manufacturing experience and prior Quality Assurance experience.
