MINIMUM 1 YEAR OF EXPERIENCE AS A QC INSPECTOR.

Connect Staffing is looking for an experienced QC Inspector for a drilling equipment manufacturer company in North Houston, TX


Schedule: Monday – Friday 5:00am-5:30pm


Requirements of the QC Inspector:

  • At least 1 year of recent experience as a Quality Control Inspector in manufacturing machining, or mechanical inspection environment.
  • Experience Inspecting rotors (drilling), stators, and elastomers using precise measurement tools such as CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) and digital calipers.
  • Ability to read analyze and interpret technical documents, engineering drawings and coating specifications.
  • Knowledge of coating types (Chrome, Chrome Carbide, Tungsten Carbide), elastomer behavior, and fit tolerance measurement.
  • Proficient in Word processing, design software, order processing Systems, Manufacturing Software and Database Software.
  • Strong math skills, including basic arithmetic and dimensional calculations used in measurement validation and rotor/stator fit assessments.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical, and background check as part of pre-employment onboarding.
  • Be able to safely lift and handle components up to 25 lbs, using proper handling techniques to protect sensitive or coated surfaces.
  • Prior experience in roles such as a Quality Assurance Inspector, Quality Technician, Quality Control Technician, Quality Assurance Technician, or QA/QC Analysis a big plus!

Responsibilities of the QC Inspector:

  • Inspect products for compliance with order specifications, legal requirements, and quality standards.
  • Approve or reject products and document examination results.
  • Perform precise measurements, including angles, radii, contours, and surface finishes, using various instruments.
  • Test parts for hardness and verify accuracy of gauges and measuring tools.
  • Prepare and maintain job tickets, labor cards, inspection reports, and related documentation.
  • Ensure productivity standards are met while maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
  • Follow all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety protocols, and ensure safety equipment is in use and operational.
  • Interact professionally with team members to support a collaborative work environment.
