QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR

Job DescriptionJob DescriptionPosition Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Quality Control Inspector to join our Inspection/Quality Control Department. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in the aerospace and/or transportation industry and a strong understanding of industry-specific quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform visual and dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products
• Use precision measuring instruments including calipers,  to verify product specifications
• Identify and report any quality issues or non-conformances in materials or products
• Accurately document inspection results and maintain records in accordance with internal procedures and industry standards
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure quality standards are met throughout the manufacturing process
• Support the preparation and review of FAIs (First Article Inspections) – knowledge of AS9102 format is a plus

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in a Quality Control or Inspection role within the aerospace and/or transportation industry
• Proficient in the use of precision measuring tools (calipers,)
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with FAI processes and documentation ()
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional technical training or certifications in quality inspection are a plus
