Quality Control | Final Inspector

This Final Inspector role is responsible for ensuring precision machined components meet strict aerospace quality standards through detailed visual and dimensional inspections.

LOCATION: Sherwood, OR

SALARY: $22/23/hr. DOE

SCHEDULE: Full-time, Monday-Friday | Day Shift

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·  Perform final inspections of precision machined components and assemblies to ensure compliance with aerospace specifications and quality standards

·  Conduct visual and dimensional inspections using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify accuracy and surface finish requirements

·  Document inspection results, complete required reports, and ensure all quality and compliance paperwork is accurate and up to date

·  Communicate quality issues in real time with cross-functional teams and follow all safety procedures, company policies, and AS9100/ISO standards

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

·  Proficient in inspection and measurement techniques, including the use of calipers, micrometers, and precision gauges

·  Strong understanding of machining processes and ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications

·  Excellent attention to detail with solid organizational and documentation skills

·  Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments

·  High school diploma or equivalent required, with at least 1+ year of quality inspection experience; ISO 9001 or AS9100 familiarity

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
This role requires the ability to stand for extended periods, handle and inspect small to medium-sized components, and use precision measuring tools with accuracy. Candidates must have good vision (with or without correction) to perform detailed visual inspections and be able to occasionally lift and move parts or materials.
