Job DescriptionJob DescriptionSalary: $60,000 - $95,000 DOE
Job Summary:
- Oversee and uphold quality standards for incoming and outgoing products across Kelley Engineered Equipments fabrication and assembly shops, driving accountability and
continuous improvement among production and engineering teams.
Qualifications:
- Background in Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar
- Bachelors in mechanical engineering or equivalent/similar
- Previous experience within Welding/ Steel Prep/ General Fabrication
- CWI Certification , not required
Background with the Association of American Railroads QA-5000, M-1003, or ISO 9001 Quality Standards .
Responsibilities/ Duties:
- Maintaining and updating the Quality Control Procedures in accordance with the AAR QA-5000 Standard
- Conducting Quality Inspections of Fabricated/Assembled Components
- Conducting on-site inspections of outsourced machined/fabricated/assembled
- Hosting the external AAR audit(s).
- Conducting internal audits of the quality program
- Writing nonconformances for noncompliant parts
- Writing inspection and test plans
- Creating/approving certification documentation/forms
- Consulting with Engineering on AAR MSRP documentation
- Maintaining the master document list for KEEs Quality Program
- Writing Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis
- Comparing Physical Components to Engineered Drawings
- Work within the Total ETO ERP System
- Experience with measurement devices (Tape measure, Caliper, Micrometer, Gauge Pins)
- Document Creation experience
- Proficiency in written and verbal communications
- Proficiency with Digital and Hardcopy Organization
- Use of Microsoft SharePoint and most Microsoft Applications is required (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Prior experience with Root Cause Analysis
- Prior experience with Engineered Drawings and Drafting
- Previous audit Training/Certifications
