As we enter a new era of nuclear innovation, were expanding our team to meet increasing demand.Were hiring a QC Engineer to help uphold the highest standards of quality and compliance at our new, fully digital manufacturing plant in Deeside.In this role, youll support the manufacture of carbon and stainless-steel pipe spools and support structures, carry out inspections in line with the Project Quality Plan, and work closely with QC Inspectors to ensure right-first-time delivery. Youll also play a key role in promoting a culture of operational excellence and client satisfaction.What Youll Do:Implement and maintain the Project Quality Plan and Inspection Test Plans.Review documentation, LTQRs, weld procedures, and calibration records for compliance.Conduct audits, manage non-conformance reports, and support supplier approvals.Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality standards are met.Deliver quality awareness training and contribute to process improvements.NCR (Non-Conformance Report) management, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actionsWhat Youll Bring:Advanced knowledge of modern welding proceduresExcellent communication skills with a good eye for detailSignificant experience in working on pipe spooling contractsKnowledge of RCCM manufacturing specificationsComputer literate and willing to train on internal digital platformsPrevious Nuclear experience requiredExperience operating in a fast and high volume production environmentCSWIP 3.1 - PreferredPCN Level 2 MPI PreferredPCN Level 2 Radiographic Interpretation MinimumMinimum of 5 years proven experience in NCR (Non-Conformance Report) management, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actionsWhy Boccard?Boccard is expanding its presence in the nuclear energy sector with a new digital facility in Deeside, a growing portfolio of secured long-term projects, and active involvement in next- reactor development.
