We are a family company operating in the automotive industry since 1977! We are seeking a Quality Compliance & PPAP Coordinator to join our team who values collaboration, organization, and consistency. This role supports our quality systems, ensures compliance with industry standards, and helps maintain the high level of quality our customers expect.

 

About the Role:

You’ll be the go-to person for maintaining inspection and compliance data, coordinating PPAP documentation, and ensuring our quality records are accurate and current. You’ll work closely with the quality, engineering, customer service and operations teams to keep projects moving smoothly and standards met.

 

Key Responsibilities:

• Document Management: Prepare, maintain, and submit all required PPAP documentation, including Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), FMEAs, Control Plans, and Part Submission Warrants (PSWs).

• Process Monitoring: Monitor and maintain PPAP logs and other quality metrics to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.

• Documentation Control: Manage the distribution and obsolescence of controlled documents such as prints, forms, and work instructions to ensure compliance.

• Coordinate annual revalidations and support customer submissions and document requests.

Maintain and update drawing databases (DDB/RDF) and AS400 entries for parts and suppliers.

• Manage supplier test reports, declarations, and customer scorecards.

• Assist with first article inspection reports (visual and dimensional) and CORT (Team Feasibility Review and Compliance) as needed.

 

Qualifications:

• A detail-oriented team player with strong organization and follow-through.

• Experience or familiarity with PPAP documentation, quality systems, and related standards (APQP, IMDS, REACH, RoHS, Prop65, AS400, and inspection processes)

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

• A mindset focused on continuous improvement, teamwork, and ensuring accuracy and completeness from the outset
