Quality Assurance Manager and Safety Manager for Metal Manufacturing

We are a metal prototype manufacturer in Rochester Hills currently seeking a motivated individual for a "Quality Assurance Manager / Safety Coordinator Manager" position to join our team. The individual for this position must have experience and qualifications in 'Quality Assurance' and experience with MIOSHA Industrial Safety standards. We have a very experienced quality and safety team that you will have the pleasure of leading.

Compensation will be determined by experience and performance.

Quality Assurance Responsibilities

• Maintain current ISO9001:2015 Quality System
  • Conduct Audits; Internal, supplier, and customer
  • Oversee any Non-Conformance or Corrective Actions
  • Prepare Management Review documents
  • Active involvement in APQP when required
  • Maintain Customer Quality Manuals and requirements
  • Maintain supplier certifications annually
  • Maintain company calibration records and scheduled required calibrations
  • Quality Training
• Prepare PPAP documents for projects requiring them
  • Review dimensional reports and certifications for; Warrants, Control Plans, Flow Plans, and PFEMA
  • Complete customer-required PPSR and/or warrants

Safety Coordinator Manager

• Maintain current "SAFETY AND HEALTH MANAGEMENT SYSTEM"
  • Oversee safety committee meetings
  • Complete PPE Assessments
  • Complete annual MIOSHA/SARA reports
  • Maintain and schedule annual building and fire inspections
  • Complete safety training and maintain employee safety training records
