Required Duties: Candidate will assist the Government in quality assurance management and operational support at a government facility for an Advanced Meter Reading Implementation located at FE Warren AFB, WY. Specific duties shall include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Evaluate schedules, work performance quality and perform documentation reviews for all work in progress projects
- Read construction prints, submittals, and other associated technical documentation
- Provide quality oversight and coordination on on-going projects
- Attend operations, maintenance and construction project meetings
- Ensure on-site compliance with Fire Protection Association and other federal, state and local codes and criteria
- Provide oral reports to government officials
- Perform field surveys to investigate existing layouts and conditions
- Coordinate with site personnel as required
- Attend and participate in final on-site inspections of completed projects
- Submit written status reports
Requirements/Qualifications:
- BS/BA degree or 15 years’ experience required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites
- Demonstrated ability to work independently
- Strong attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to organize and plan meetings and prepare presentations
- Ability to pass background checks and a obtain a favorable NACI clearance
- Knowledge of construction technology
- Knowledge of project controls
- Conflict management and problem-solving skills
- Background in HVAC, HVAC controls, Plumbing, or Electrical design-build construction projects.
- Assist in managing and reviewing the progress of construction schedules.
- Coordinate and monitor schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
- Ensure that all work is performed in accordance with specifications, approved manuals, and procedures.
Licenses/Training:
- Construction Quality Manager Certification
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification
- First Aid/CPR Certified
- EM 385-1-1 Awareness Training
- Plumbing, HVAC, or Electrical License a plus
