Job DescriptionJob DescriptionQuality Assurance ManagerThis exciting role will be responsible for providing leadership, training, and supervision for the Quality Assurance (QA) team, as well as the ability to perform the duties of a QA Inspector. A solid understanding of quality control and inspection throughout the manufacturing process, especially in aerospace production, will be needed to be successful in this role. They are headquartered in the Monroe, WA area. The company is a leading designer and manufacturer of various aerospace components. - Manage and assign QA tasks to meet production schedules and priorities.
- Supervise and develop QA staff, including performance evaluations, scheduling, and training.
- Interpret aerospace manufacturing drawings and specifications and be the technical lead for the QA team.
- Verify product conformance and document inspection results.
- Use MRP systems for reporting and task management.
- Support quality initiatives across departments and ensure compliance.
- Audit procedures and processes of shop inspection.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of QA experience in a regulated industry (preferably aerospace).
- Prior supervisory and hands-on inspection background in the aerospace industry is .
- Working knowledge of blueprint reading, CMM, and GD&T, and the ability to teach these concepts to the team.
- Strong leadership and communication abilities.
- Technical expertise in aerospace inspection, GD&T, and quality standards.
- Detail-oriented, customer-focused, and highly organized.
- Effective problem-solving and teamwork skills.
Salary Range:
- $100,000-120,000+ depending on experience
