Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Manager\nLocation: London (with travel to project sites across the city)\nSector: Construction – Design & Build\nEmployment Type: Permanent\nSalary: Competitive + car allowance + benefits\n\nCompany Overview:\n\nAn established Tier 1 main contractor with a strong reputation for delivering large-scale, complex design & build projects across the UK is looking to appoint a Quality Assurance Manager to join their growing team in London.\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced QA professional to play a key role in maintaining and elevating quality standards across a diverse range of high-profile construction schemes, including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * \n\n Lead the implementation and management of project-specific Quality Plans in line with ISO 9001 and internal systems.\n\n * \n\n Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards and client specifications.\n\n * \n\n Collaborate with site and project teams to embed a culture of quality across all project stages.\n\n * \n\n Investigate non-conformances, drive root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.\n\n * \n\n Maintain up-to-date quality documentation including ITPs, inspection records, and handover documentation.\n\n * \n\n Provide training and support to operational staff on QA procedures and compliance protocols.\n\n * \n\n Act as a key liaison between the project team, subcontractors, and client representatives on all matters relating to quality.\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Proven experience in a Quality Assurance role within a Tier 1 or Tier 2 main contractor.\n\n * \n\n Strong knowledge of construction processes, quality standards, and regulatory compliance.\n\n * \n\n Familiarity with ISO 9001 and other relevant quality management systems.\n\n * \n\n Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.\n\n * \n\n A proactive, detail-oriented approach with strong problem-solving capabilities.\n\n * \n\n Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or quality management are desirable.\n\n * \n\n Based in or able to commute to London regularly.\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary + car allowance + benefits package\n\n * \n\n Permanent role with a highly reputable Tier 1 contractor\n\n * \n\n Opportunity to work on landmark London projects\n\n * \n\n Supportive and collaborative team environment with clear career progression
