Quality Assurance Coordinator, Catering Logistics (3rd Shift)

The Catering Logistics & QA Coordinator is responsible for the accuracy, quality, and packaging of all catering orders before dispatch. This role is a key point of coordination between the kitchen, client service team, and delivery drivers. The coordinator ensures all orders are reviewed, prioritized, and routed in the most efficient way. They are accountable for expeditor station setup, last minute store run coordination, Proof of Delivery completion, and packaging standards. You will serve as the final quality assurance checkpoint to ensure the highest possible satisfaction for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and organize orders daily by highest priority and shortest delivery window
- Create and manage production sheets for efficient preparation of ingredients
- Coordinate and verify food quality, packaging, and accuracy at the Expeditor/Expo Station
- Strategically route drivers while monitoring internal driving system (Samsara) for efficiency and compliance
- Comfortable and able to "Train the Trainer" in both inflight and corporate catering procedures
- Perform and verify same-day store runs, maintain accurate records via internal receipt system (Fyle)
- Update and submit Proof of Delivery's with correct order changes, substitutions and/or adjustments
- Support kitchen staff and delivery drivers with packaging, paperwork, labeling, and overall facility communication
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of experience in food logistics, catering, or dispatch operations
- Extreme attention to detail with high standards for food presentation
- Ability to "think on your feet" and prioritize tasks under pressure
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams and overall "tech savvy"
- Exceptional phone presence and interpersonal skills for internal and external communications
- Passion to lead, train, and direct others with empathy, honesty and respect
Certification(s) :
- ServSafe and/or Food Safety Training program(s)
-Lean Six Sigma program(s)
-Valid driver’s license
-CPR and/or First Aid
