PRI is seeking a highly qualified Quality and Operations Manager for a potential upcoming opportunity providing United States Air Force (USAF) logistics support at Edwards Air Force Base.
The Quality and Operations Manager will serve as a key member of the program leadership team, supporting the Project Manager in ensuring full compliance with all Performance Work Statement (PWS) requirements while driving operational excellence, quality assurance, and continuous improvement across all contract deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in the execution and oversight of all contract activities, ensuring full compliance with the PWS and achievement of performance objectives.
- Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Quality Control Program that ensures all deliverables meet or exceed contractual standards, USAF requirements, and PRI quality expectations.
- Establish, monitor, and analyze Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and performance metrics to assess operational effectiveness, identify trends, and drive data‑informed improvements.
- Support rigorous adherence to applicable DoD and USAF regulations, instructions, and policies, ensuring all project activities remain compliant throughout contract performance.
- Partner with project teams and functional leads to promote continuous process improvement, risk mitigation, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by maintaining professional, responsive, and mission‑focused engagement with government stakeholders.
- Oversee and manage onsite Safety Program, ensuring compliance with all safety requirements and fostering a culture of safety across logistics operations.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership, providing quality, operations, and compliance insight to support strategic decision‑making.
Requirements
- Minimum of 10 years of demonstrated experience with Quality Control methodologies as applied to USAF logistics operations.
- DoD Contractor experience .
- Requires an active SECRET clearance or the ability to receive and maintain one.
- Strong working knowledge of PWS‑driven contracts, performance metrics, and government oversight environments.
- Proven ability to manage quality, safety, and operational compliance within a complex logistics or support services program
- Experience collaborating with government customers and internal leadership in a professional services or defense contracting environment
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
