Job DescriptionJob Description

Responsibilities and Deliverables:

·         Inspect incoming materials and parts from suppliers using visual and mechanical tools as required

·         Review and verify First Article Inspection (FAI) from suppliers

·         Use conventional and advanced inspection devices and methods to verify dimensions to drawing specifications

·         Manage, or help manage, Persimmon’s calibration program

·         Participate in MRB meetings for disposition of non-compliant materials

·         Maintain records, data, and related information as required by Quality Management System

·         Recommend improvements to QMS database to better provide information for improvements.

Skills Required:

·         Proficient with GD&T

·         Experience with CMM inspection; instruments utilizing PC-DMIS is

·         Ability to set up inspection for intricate components with tight tolerances

·         Able to interpret blueprints, schematics, sketches, and other design documents

·         Proper handling of parts in Class 1,000 (ISO Class 6) cleanroom environment

·         Proper handling of Electro-static sensitive (ESD) components

·         Good organizational, communications, and analytical skills

·         Working understanding of ISO 9001 quality systems requirements
